How to go for General Booking : Ticket in an advance Your IRCTC Account

General Booking : 60 days before : 8.00. AM
Step : 1 : Booking Time gets started from 8.AM
Step : 2 : When you try to book any ticket in an advance before 60 days and before 8 am the shown ticket availability will show with Hashtag means it starts from scheduled time 8 am
Step : 3 : Whenever you start by filling the passengers details it will show info , Booking not yet started for the selected quota and class.Please try after some time.
Step : 4 : While Hashtag is removed after 8 AM. Booking tickets
Login first.Fill captcha.
Step : 5 : By touching train , Book Ticket. Choose Train , Date, Class / SL/3E/3A/2A/ 1A.
Step : 7 : As soon as you select Passenger Details.Info will be shown..' Senior Citizen concession not allowed...'
press OK in the opened Dialogue box.
Step : 8 : Select Existing Passengers name if pre existing
Step : 9 : Add New .More to be added by Giving Name, Age,Gender and Seat Berth Preference.
Step : 10 : Review Journey Details. Before you go for pressing this
Choose Other Preference : Consider for auto upgradation
Payment Mode : Pay through Credit & Debit Cards / Net Banking / Wallets / Others
Step : 11 : Fill Captcha.
Step : 12 : Then Proceed to pay.
Step : 13 : Select other mode of Payment : Multi Payment Option.
Step : 14 : Choose Phone Pay in that you will get the Google pay option.

How to Change the Boarding Point by learning and by doing yourself.
Log in your App. Fill Captcha
Step 0 : Touch the Train Option there.
Step 1 : Then touch My Booking option.
a. Upcoming and Completed. We need here upcoming section.
b. Upcoming Tickets to be clicked.
c. Right Handed Top Side three dots are available. This is to be touched.
d. As soon as we get the options as a. Current Status b. Cancel Ticket c. Change Boarding Point d. Opt Vikalp e. Rebook Ticket.
e. As soon as we touch the c. Change the Boarding Point we get the options for Stations to be opted.
As we select the Station gets selected for that.
f. After that touch the Update the Boarding Point. Soon it will get updated in the ticket.
d. Click the ticket will open Status of the Ticket and Boarding Point.
e. This could be changed once in the on line ticket 24 hours before of the journey.
f. After changing the boarding point you are authorized to travel by that changed point if you travel by the source station you can be fined.
g. If earlier option vikalp is given then it cannot be availed again.
h. E Ticket means Electronic Ticket that we usually have keeps facility to change the boarding pass.
i. I Ticket or Internet Ticket does not have facility to change the boarding facility.

How to Cancel the Ticket by learning and by doing yourself. Page 1/2

Step 1 : Open your IRCTC App in Mobile.
Step 2 : Log in your own IRCTC Account. Touch My Booking Book Ticket
Step 3 : Opt and click the My Booking or My Transaction. It goes to My Booking option shows your tickets. As soon as you touch it shows your up coming journey. Now touch the ticket which you want to cancel. As soon as you touch the ticket shows the ticket details.
Step 4 : Touch the 3 dots shown horizontally at right handed side.
Step 5 : As soon as you touch 4 options will be shown there.
a. Current Status
b. Cancel Ticket
c. Change Boarding Point
d. Opt Vikalp means the traveler opts waiting list may be confirmed in the next train.
Step 6 : Choose Cancel Ticket.
Step 7 : Ticket will be shown. Select all if your alone. If you want to cancel partly then select that one Do Cancel. You can cancel your ticket before 24 hours till the preparation of the chart that gets prepared 4 hours before.
Step 8 : Press Cancel that comes below in the mobile.
Step 9 : Message comes in a box are you confirmed. Press Confirm.
Step 10 : After cancellation a message is sent to your Mobile " your ticket has been cancelled.
Step 11: Amount after deduction will be deposited in the Concerned account by which you have booked your tickets as Davit Card, Credit Card, UPI etc

उत्तर : ट्रेन छूटने के ८ घंटे पहले तक ही टिकट कैंसिल करने पर रिफंड पैसा वापसी मिलता है। यदि ट्रेन के प्रस्थान में ८ घंटे से कम समय बचा है, तो टिकट रद्द करने पर आपको कोई पैसा वापस नहीं मिलेगा। इसके नए नियम नीचे दिए गए हैं
७२ घंटे से ज्यादा पहले : अर्थात यात्रा से ३ दिन पहले टिकट रद्द करने पर न्यूनतम शुल्क कटता है और पूरा पैसा वापस मिल जाता है।
४८ घंटे के पहले : न्यूनतम एसी ३ टियर में १८० रुपया, स्लीपर के किराए मात्र में १२० रुपये कटते हैं।
४८ से १२ घंटे के बीच : कुल किराए का २५ % या न्यूनतम १२० रुपया शुल्क कटता है।
१२ से ४ घंटे तक़ : कुल किराए का ५० % या न्यूनतम १२० रुपया रिफंड कट जाएगा।
४ घंटे से कम समय पर : कोई रिफंड नहीं मिलेगा।
आप अपना टिकट ऑनलाइन IRCTC वेबसाइट या आधिकारिक ऐप के माध्यम से आसानी से रद्द कर सकते हैं।
ट्रेवल एजेंसी के अनुसार दो दिन पहले टिकट रद्द करने मात्र में एसी टिकट के किराए में १९५ रुपया मात्र कटते हैं जबकि स्लीपर के किराए मात्र में १२० रुपये कटते हैं।
