Thus all students are  required to study four themes in all.
Pre - Mid term test/ quarterly(April to July)

Chapter 2- Socialism in Europe and the Russian Revolution(up to February Revolution in
Petrogard)
Mid-term-test / half yearly(August to September)
Section 1- Events and Processes
Chapter 2-Socialism in Europe and the Russian revolution
Chapter 3- Nazism and the rise of Hitler.
Post Mid term/pre annual(October to December)
Section 2 Livelihoods Economics and Societies
(Any one of the following themes)
Chapter 4- Forest society and colonialism (Up to rebellion in the forest)
Chapter 5-Pastroralists in modern world(up to colonial rule and pastoral life)
Chapter 6- Peasants and farmers(up to bread basket and dust bowl)
(Map work based on theme 4/5/6, internet choice will be provided).

Annual exam (January and February)
