How to get Portability from PNB - Oriental Mediclaim Policy - 2017 to PNB Star Health Insurance.

All Health policies come under the IRDA. And you can avail the facility of 80 D in your tax rebate. Like in Mobile Service we can port our numbers to other service providers similarly we can also enjoy the facility of portability of Health Insurance from one company to another.
As my policy stood for Group Policy offering for Bank Customer. I go for the portability in PNB 
Star Health Insurance.
IRDA requires 45 days before but possibility as per experiences of agent are that it can be renewed within 12 to 15 days. Let us check.
Step 1 : Share the latest Health Insurance Policy Paper to Agent.
Step 2 : Share the back 3 years Health Insurance Policy Paper to your authenticated Agent.
Step 3 : Always deposit the only crossed Account Payee Cheque to Star Health and Allied ins.co.ltd
Payable to A/C 2543002100217872 or whichsoever provided.
Step 4 : Get the M Number or TID Number ( Transaction ID Number) for the necessary process of portability will begin after that.
Step 5 : As it is claimed that I am a PNB Account Holder having a policy PNB - Oriental Mediclaim Policy -2017 : Group Health Insurance Product ( Policy for Bank Account Holders only ) UIN : OICHLGP 18074V011718
my 5 to 6 years back family floater policy may be ported to the next with all prevailed existing facilities which I had earlier.
Step 6 : The Document of Aadhar and Pan of first Applicant and for Second Applicant whose age is above 45 Pan is required for processing. And the third applicant whose age is less than no document is required.
Step 7 : Proposal farm is sent to under writer to Back Office Star Insurance Head Office Lucknow.
Step 8 : Accepted Proposal Farm is checked then it is decided for issuance of successful portability..
Step 9 : Then it gets reflected in the system.
Step 10 : If it is rejected then operational officer claim for the refund it comes back to that Account

Step 1 : The Customers are given a cashless card which has the toll free no as 1800 425 2255 / 18001038318 / 04428263300.
Step 2 : Ring that number and ask about the Hospital which is enlisted or not. And properly inform that you are going to avail the facility of the Hospital.
The Customer Care will ask your ID No and Hospital Address. Admission date and Discharge Date, Treatment etc.
He will give you the Claim ID then after that you can treck the claim.
Step : Claim within 15 days.
Step 3 : If it is enlisted then go with your cash less card and avail facility.
Step 4 : If your hospital is not enlisted then go for having a Check list for reimbursement
