Q. What is defamation ? 
Answer : If a person's honor is hurt, it falls into the category of defamation because every Indian citizen has the right to live with full respect. Therefore a provision of defamation law has been made in the Indian Constitution so that the honor of a person is not hurt due to other activities. 
Apart from the Article 19 of the Indian Constitution, provision related to defamation has also been given in the Indian Panel Code
Q. What are the types of defamation ? 
Answer : According to the law defamation is of two types--
1.Civil & 
2.Criminal
Under the Civil Law an insulted person can approach the High Court or Lower Court to prove his insult and demand monetary compensation from the accused. 
So far Criminal Defamation is concerned 
Defamation against the State is contained in Section 124 A of the IPC
Defamation against community is contained in Section 153 of the Indian Panel Code which is called a nuisance.
Section 499 to 502 lPC relates to defamation.
Section 500 IPC relates to punishment described in the Indian Penal Code.
Punishment for defamation.— Whoever defames another shall be punished with simple imprisonment for a term which may extend to two years, or with fine, or with both.

Question : Can  the name of Biological father be changed?
Answer : No, at least the name of Biological father can't be changed in the Birth Certificate of the candidate..
Person should file the case to adopt the child. The court will justify the case and the age of father. After adaptation letter of judgement the recorded name could be changed with any rectification.
Once deed of adaption is executed in the name of father can be added to birth certificate of the child. Without valid adaption it is not possible.
Question : What is CrPC ?
Answer : The Code of Criminal Procedure commonly called Criminal Procedure Code (Cr PC) is the main legislation on procedure for administration of substantive criminal law in India. It was enacted in 1973 and came into force on 1 April 1974.

Answer : The Code of Civil Procedure
Question : What is IPC ?
Answer : The Indian Penal Code (IPC) is the official criminal code of India. It is a comprehensive code intended to cover all substantive aspects of criminal law. ... The Code has since been amended several times and is now supplemented by other criminal provisions. 
This was passed in 6 th of October1860.
It came into enforcement of Ist of January1862.
At present, the IPC is divided into 23 chapters and contains 511 sections in total.
Question : What is IPC and CrPC ?
Answer : The Indian Penal Code is a substantive law whereas the Criminal Procedure Code is procedural law. The Indian Penal Code states various crimes and classifies them into multiple categories. The Code also prescribes the penalties and the punishment for the respective offences.
Question : What does LL.B stand for?
Answer It stands for Legum Baccalaureus (लिगम बे केलोरिअस meant for Bachelor of Laws. Lex or Legis in means 'Law ' in English. It is a singular word. Legum is a Latin word in a plural form means 'Laws' in English.
In Latin if we want to write the plural form of a word 'Legum' or 'Laws' the first letter is doubled so for writing 'Laws' or 'Legum' we write 'LL'. 
And B for Baccalaureus in Latin  or in English Bachelor.
And we write Bachelor of Laws.

Question : What is a cognizable offence?
Answer : A cognizable offence is an offence as per the first schedule or under any other law. For the time being the police can arrest any convict without any warrant and investigate  without the permission of court.
Ex : Murder, Rape, Kidnapping, Theft, Dowry Death.
The police is bound to file a FIR under Section of 154 of CrPC only for cognizable offence.

Question : What is a non cognizable offence ?
Answer : A non cognizable offence is an offence listed under IPC lies under bailable section nature. It keeps punishment of a tenure of 3 or less then three years.
Ex : Forgery. Cheating. Defamation. Public nuisance fall in non congizable offence.
Police can not arrest any accused without a warrant and prior permission of the court.

Answer :  Under section 13 of the Copyright Act 1957,is conferred on literary, dramatic, musical, artistic works, cinematography films and sound recording.

Question : What is IPC 193?
Answer : Whoever intentionally gives false evidences in any of judicial proceedings ao fabricate false evidence in any stage is liable for a 7 year imprisonment with fine in a judicial proceedings.
Or a 3 year imprisonment with fine in any other case.
Question : What is IPC 209 ?
Answer : Section 209 of the Indian Penal Code makes dishonestly making a false claim in a Court as an offence punishable with imprisonment up to two years and fine. That the accused knew that the claim was false; and. The claim was made fraudulently, dishonestly, or with intent to injure or to annoy any person.
Question : What is Section 294 of IPC ?
Answer : Section 294 of the IPC lays down the punishment for obscene acts or words in public however the law doesn't define what would constitute an obscene act, but it would enter the domain of the state only when it takes place to the annoyance of others.
The offender would be liable for an imprisonment up to 3 years or with a fine or both.
Question : What is 417 of IPC? 
Answer : Simple cheating is punishable under Section 417 of IPC. Section 417 of IPC states that whoever is held liable for the offence of cheating shall be punished with imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year or with fine and imprisonment.
Question : What to do if someone is torturing you mentally ?
Answer : You can file a complaint in the nearest police station: the police will record every thing you will tell them. The police will be aware of the torture you are facing. They will have all the evidences and records essential for future proceedings.
Question : Thana is not lodging the FIR what's to do?
Solution : If thana is not accepting your FIR. Send a registered letter of your grievances to your SP of that district will sure listen and order his subordinate.
If SP is reluctant then you can lodge your complain direct in the court.

Answer :  Section 80 (GG) of the Income Tax Act offers the help for the payee. An individual paying for a furnished/unfurnished accommodation can claim the deduction for the rent paid under Section 80 (GG) of the I-T Act, provided he is not paid HRA as a part of his salary by furnishing form 10B.

Answer : Section 354 A IPC ( Indian Penal Code ) Sexual harassment and punishment for sexual harassment with these table of contents.
A man committing any of the following acts a.physical contact and advances involving unwelcome and explicit sexual overtures; or b. a demand or request for sexual favours; c.or showing pornography against the will of a woman; or d. making sexually coloured remarks, shall be guilty of the offence of sexual harassment.
Any man who commits the offence specified in clause (i) or clause (ii) or clause (iii) of sub-section (1) shall be punished with rigorous imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years, or with fine, or with both.Any man who commits the offence specified in clause (iv) of sub-section (1) shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to one year, or with fine, or with both.
Q. What is Article 376 ?
Answer : This Article 376 stands for punishment for rape.
(a) Whoever, except in the cases provided for in sub-section (2), commits rape, shall be punished with rigorous imprisonment of either description for a term which shall not be less than ten years, but which may extend to imprisonment for life, and shall also be liable to fine..
