This was my second time I was going for the foreign tour. And I remember that at my early age of 7 or 8 years I once visited Nepal, my neighbouring country with my Media team . And we did not need any passport for that travelling.

Once Again in March 2025 by the grace of Jagran Media Team for having our presence on the occasion of International Women's Day we were out of our country for a four to five day trip to Hanoi, Vietnam.

I was given a detailed itinerary for my tour plan. I had a domestic flight from Delhi to Kolkotta then onwards an international flight for Hanoi. It took at least 2 hours.I reached Hanoi really it awesome for me that alone without my family member I came out. My co traveller Free lance Media Photographer Er.Shashank Shekhar was with us for collecting the good clicks for our featured desk.

The Day 1 on 7th of March,

That the Day 1 on 7th of March, day Friday our arrival was scheduled at HA NOI – NINH BINH – TRANG AN – HA NOI (B,L,D) Upon arrival in Noi Bai International Airport we were transferred to the hotel, for an early Check-In. We were given breakfast at the hotel.

Ninh Binh Vietnam. At 08:30 morning we were picked up from the hotel lobby, and transferred to Ninh Binh with 2 hours on road. Ninh Binh in Vietnam is famous for its stunning natural landscapes, particularly its towering limestone mountains rising from rice paddies, tranquil rivers, and numerous ancient temples, often referred to as the "Ha Long Bay on land" due to its picturesque scenery, making it a popular destination for nature lovers and history buffs alike; this area is also a UNESCO.

Hoa Lu : By 10:30 morning we were visiting Hoa Lu, which was once depicted the ancient capital of Vietnam, settling up in the 10th century.

Hoa Lu was the capital of Vietnam from 968 to 1009. It lies in Tru0ng village, Hoa Lu, Ninh Bình Province.

The area is one of ricefields broken by limestone mountains, and is approximately 90 km south of Hanoi. We visiting temples of two Dynasties of Dinh and Le with a very unique architectures in the old time. we learnt more about ancient culture through an excavation of vestiges of Royal Places ground dated 10th century. It was a high time for lunch at Indian restaurant. With our taste of India tt seemed to be at our home for all of us.

Trang An eco-tourism complex : Just at 1:30 pm : we came closer to the nature when we visit Trang An eco-tourism complex. The combination of inexperienced mountains and emerald water, many caves limestone mountains, wild natures of forest and rivers, and a big system of distinctive caves.

It’s thought about as “an out- of- doors geological museum”.

Certainly we make you sure that you will be amazed by the breathtaking scenes there.

By Evening we came back to Hanoi. At 7.30 we took our dinner at Indian restaurant. And we had to spend overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

Day 2

I have been very fortunate enough to witness the event on the International Women's Day Celebration that had to be held in Hanoi. Indeed it was a very special and unforgettable tour for me with great experiences on Halong- Cat Ba Archipelago, UNESCO New Natural World Heritage.

After Breakfast – We were be picked up for Hanoi oriental city tour started with a short visit to Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (outside visit), Ba Dinh Square, passing by Opera House, Cathedral of Hanoi, Hoan Kiem Lake…. A short walk on Hanoi’s Old Quarters streets.

While passing through the street you’ll see Vietnam’s history reflected in the French -influenced lakes, public parks, and tree- lined boulevards.

Really I enjoyed a lot to visit the Hanoi's “ Train Street,” where an old train thunders down railroad tracks, rattling the cafes and shops— and onlookers—merely a foot away.

It was quite thrilling some while sitting along the track we saw even passing a train.
The tour concluded with the end with at the “egg coffee” - special taste creamy coffee at local coffee shop at train street.
At 15:00 pm we get transferred back to hotel to prepare for the gala dinner at hotel.

It was an evening at Hanoi when The Jagran Achiever Awards were given to recognize and reward people who have achieved excellence in their respective fields. The awards are given in various categories, including entrepreneurship, advertising, education, and more.

As we start peeing in the history and as I remember the International Women's Day (IWD) commemorates women's fight for equality and liberation along with the women's rights movement. International Women's Day gives focus to issues such as gender equality, reproductive rights, and violence and abuse against women. Spurred by the universal female suffrage movement, International Women's Day originated from labor movements in Europe and North America during the early 20th century, with the modern holiday, March 8, being declared by Lenin.

A visit of Ha Long a tourism paradise : By the early morning after taking the breakfast at hotel we go for the hotel check out then we are picked up, for transferring to Halong Province with 3 hours on road.
About 180 kilometers away from Hanoi, Ha Long is the first-class provincial city of Quang Ninh Province and known as a tourism paradise in the Northern region. Thanks to its privileged location, Ha Long Vietnam attracts millions of domestic and international tourists each year.
We took our also lunch at Indian restaurant in Halong.
An Unforgettable Ferry from Tuan Chau to Cat Ba Island : Cát Bà Island is the largest of the 367 islands spanning 262.41 km² that comprise the Cat Ba Archipelago, which makes up the southeastern edge of Lan Ha Bay in Northern Vietnam and maintains the dramatic and rugged features of Ha Long Bay.
A nice ferry service. Nice to notice that there has been a nice ferry service.A ferry is a boat that carries passengers, cargo, and sometimes vehicles across a body of water. The term can also refer to the place where the crossing takes place.
As we make you recall the time table for Ferry Tuan Chau – Cat Ba: is around 07:30 // 11:30 // 15:00 with 50 minutes on ferry. And you have to be careful about this.
At 15:00 we all together take the last Ferry from Tuan Chau to Cat Ba Island - a World Natural Heritage of Ha Long Bay - Cat Ba archipelago.

A Visiting of an Island Cat ba town : By 15:50 Arriving at Gia Luan port, we get transferred from Gia Luan to Cat ba town with 30 minutes.Arriving at Flamingo Cat Ba, we go for a check in.Cat Ba is an island in Vietnam, not a town. It's the largest island in Halong Bay and is a popular destination for tourists.

Day 4 (10 March) –
Mon CAT BA – VIET HAI VILLAGE -

Breakfast at hotel, today we make join a tour to explore Cat Ba Island on Serenity cruise.
Serenity Premium Cruises – One of the few cruises in Cat Ba designed in the neoclassical Indochine Style with a harmonious combination of Tradition – Modernity. Especially with the design line inspired by the Kim Fish and brown sails – the symbol of sea voyages that always attracts all eyes on any voyage it goes to.
It was around 10:00: am morning we altogether drive on a scenic coastal from Cai Vieng Port to Beo Harbor.
It was getting 11:00 am we keep enjoying welcome drink while listening to safety instruction, itineraries, and notes.
Cruise slowly into the poetic scenery of Cai Beo ancient floating fishing village with the local houses lying along the mountainside.

A 7,000-year-old village : You will be surprised at the peaceful beauty of this 7,000-year-old village. The cruise moves further into the core of bay by passing East Gate, Tortoise Island, and where you are amazed by the gift of Mother Nature by a large bay area, the phenomenal emerald water embracing hundreds of rocky islands of various sizes and shapes.
Again we feel at home like Kerla when we were served at 12:00 Indian Lunch on cruise.
The ancient Viet Hai Village : At the scheduled timing 13:00 it sets sailing to Viet Hai Port where you will take electric car/bicycle to the ancient Viet Hai Village.
Experience a unique fish-foot massage, stroll through well-preserved traditional houses, or engage in conversations with local residents for a truly memorable experience.
Kayaking : Swimming : It gets really thrilling one for me both that at 14:30 we may enjoy the water sports activity KAYAKING – SWIMMING.
We remain stopped for swimming and kayaking in the bay will be chosen by captain for the group to experience interesting activities as swimming, boat-jumping, water slide, kayaking,…
At least we were highly recommend that we must wear a life jacket when swimming/ kayaking/playing with water slide…for a safe journey. And we did as per the instructions given to us. It was around 15:40 pm when the boat begins its journey back to Beo Pier. It is perfect time to relax yourself on the top deck .
At 16:15 pm watching sunset and party is served with fresh fruit, biscuits & tea.
with a cup of drink,was unforgettable for me. We by 16:45 return back to Beo Dock, say "Goodbye” and Get on the bus back to Resort.
Now it was a high free time for our enjoyment or relaxation on the beach. At evening by 19:30 we were served the dinner at Resort’s restaurant with Indian outsource. Free time for relax for the rest of day.

Day 5 : 11 th of March.
Final Day to Say Good By
Roaming a little anywhere in Hanoi.

Now it was the time that is to say goodbye to the nice native people with a promise to come once again with another group . Then we will the best guide for them. Once we felt a great deal of problem of communication with them. They were not understanding even English language and we did not know even abc in the language of Vietnam.
Thanks to our Indian tour guide Er. Snigdha Prakhar who suggested to download an app translator that could make us understand what we meant for saying. We roamed at the city with our wishes and gathered broad experiences about Vietnamese Culture & Civilisation. Now we arrived at Hanoi Base Airport for our departure flight, we did a little shopping of the sharable gifts for our relatives. It was 12 th of March then we had sapred time at Old quarter before transferred to airport for flight back home.
And by before afternoon I was at Delhi. And my linking featured news travel desk was relaxed right now.

I have been seeing you for a long time unspoken and un celebrated,

I have been knowing you for a long time, un judged and unexpected,

I have been longing to talk to you for a long time, un expressed and untuned

I have been moving towards you with attraction of unvoiced and uninterrupted

I don’t know why the feelings are stuck with no verse to express

I don’t know why my lips are bound to shut with no words to direct

I don’t know why my eyes shed down when you pass by me

I don’t know why my gesture distance from your presence around me

Thoughts of every moment,

Filled with the missing company,

Cherishes me with a smile,

When you give me your company.

The hugs and the cares,

Of every single layer,

Is as beautiful as a secret prayer,

Deep in the thoughts of my dear.

The journey we took together,

Were like a bird sitting on a twig,

Chirping and creeping with each other,

Those memories were neither very big.

The way of loving and showing love,

Of yours is like a tiger cub,

Not so fearful and not so dull,

But it's the slow poison love that keeps me all.

Keep me loving and keep me caring,

As long as I stay in this universe,

Bless me with all the happiness and joy,

And always be with me like a sweet lie.
