Question : What does LL.B stand for?
Answer : It stands for Legum Baccalaureus (लिगम बे केलोरिअस) meant for Bachelor of Laws. Lex or Legis in means 'Law ' in English. It is a singular word. Legum is a Latin word in a plural form means 'Laws' in English.
In Latin if we want to write the plural form of a word 'Legum' or 'Laws' the first letter is doubled so for writing 'Laws' or 'Legum' we write 'LL'.
And B for Baccalaureus in Latin or in English Bachelor.
And we write Bachelor of Laws.
